Latent Actor is an independent software and creative studio in Portland, Oregon, building tools for creative work — audio, video, spatial computing, and the interfaces between intention and output.

The studio grows out of a decade of work on integrated audio, video, and control systems: firmware and embedded hardware, iOS and visionOS applications, and distributed control planes for large networked installations. Two patents pending — one on runtime-discoverable type-safe distributed control, one on AR-guided acoustic simulation.
